Hello. I am the Grandma to 4 fabulous formerly feral cats. Many people know them as the Lucky Ferals. They have their own website at http://www.luckyferals.com and their own YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/luckyferals where they have a daily cat family vlog. Their names are Stella, Splash, Simba, and Boo. There are hundreds of videos posted online that document their journeys from feral cats living outside to perfectly happy house cats.
I am also an excellent and experienced cat sitter. When Stella, Splash, Simba, and Boo’s mommy has to travel or is away from home, I often babysit my grandcats and take over the vlog filming duties. Many of the viewers and subscribers to their channel began to know me as Grandma Feral. That’s how I got my name.
I started my own YouTube channel when I broke my wrist a few years ago. I was walking along the side of the road and I tripped and fell and landed on my wrist and broke it. I was planning on filming and posting several videos about broken wrist recovery but only ended up posting one. Then I posted some mail time videos and some cooking videos for fun. Eventually, one of the cooking videos went viral and my channel really grew. People started watching many of the other cooking videos that I had posted also. Many people have asked me for more recipes and recipes that they can print out so I have created this website to help them.
My mom and grandmother were both excellent cooks. I grew up eating almost nothing but homemade and organic food since my father didn’t like to go to restaurants or eat out and my parents and grandparents both had big gardens in their yards to grow their own food. I still like to cook the old-fashioned vintage recipes that I grew up with and have collected over the years. Those are also what I like to share. My parents both grew up during The Great Depression so many of the old recipes are very economical also.
I hope you enjoy this website. If you have any questions or comments, drop me a line via my Contact Form.
